How do you get baked on grease off a range hood?

3 Ways to Remove Oil Stains from a Range Hood

If you own a restaurant, then you know how important it is to keep your range hood free of oil and grease. Not only does this make your kitchen look cleaner, but it also helps to prevent fires. In this blog post, we’ll show you 3 ways to remove oil stains from a range hood

Method 1: Hot Water and Dish Soap

One of the most effective degreasers for a range hood is hot water and dish soap which is specifically formulated for removing grease. If you don’t have a cleaning spray, this is an excellent substitute.

To use this method, mix equal parts hot water and dish soap in a bucket. Then, using a sponge or cloth, apply the mixture to the stained areas of the range hood. Let it sit for a few minutes before wiping it off with a clean cloth.

Method 2: Vinegar and Water

Another way to remove grease and oil stains is to mix equal parts vinegar and water in a container. This solution is particularly effective for removing stubborn stains.

To use this method, simply apply the mixture to the stained area with a sponge or cloth. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes before wiping it off with a clean cloth.

Method 3: White Vinegar or Lemon Juice

If the stain is really stubborn, you might need to use white vinegar or lemon juice. To use this method, apply either white vinegar or lemon juice directly to the stained area with a sponge or cloth. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing it with steel wool or a brush. Once you’ve removed the stain, be sure to rinse off the area with clean water.

As you can see, there are several ways that you can remove oil stains from your range hood. We recommend trying hot water and dish soap first, but if that doesn’t work, feel free to try one of the other methods mentioned above. Do you have any tips for removing oil stains?
